Musikgarten Group Classes for Toddlers (15 months - 3 years)

What makes Cindy’s Toddler Music Class special?

Your toddler will join me in a joyful, welcoming space designed just for little ones. As a toddler mom with over 20 years of teaching experience, I know how to spark a love of music while also creating a class that feels warm, engaging, and fun for families. Beyond music, this class is about connection, joy, and laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

What is Musikgarten, and why have I chosen it?

Musikgarten is the gold standard in early childhood music education. The curriculum is backed by decades of research and experience, and I chose it because it perfectly supports how children grow.

For toddlers, this means:

  • Singing simple, playful songs

  • Moving to music in ways that fit their stage of development

  • Exploring rhythm instruments with curiosity and delight

As your child grows, the program grows with them, introducing more songs, movement, and ensemble experiences that prepare them for future music-making.

How does this class help my child’s development?

Beyond the fun, music and movement classes are powerful for child development. Research shows they:

  • Strengthen language and literacy skills

  • Boost pattern recognition (a foundation for math)

  • Support social and emotional growth through music-making and group play

Your toddler will build confidence and skills while simply having a great time.

Do caregivers participate too?

Yes! Toddlers learn best when a trusted caregiver is right there with them — whether that’s a parent, grandparent, nanny, or babysitter. In every class, you’ll sing, move, and play alongside your child. This shared experience not only boosts your toddler’s learning, it also strengthens the bond between child and caregiver, making music a joyful part of everyday life.

What if my child is shy, busy, or not ready to sing?

That’s completely normal. Some children join right away, others observe first — both are valid ways of learning. Over time, even the quietest children begin to sing and play, while the energetic ones learn how to channel their enthusiasm through music and movement.

What happens in a typical class?

In each session, you and your toddler will enjoy:

  • Singing and echo games

  • Movement activities like dancing, clapping, and scarf play

  • Playing rhythm instruments (shakers, drums, sticks)

  • Listening games that nurture focus and imagination

  • Fun rituals that give toddlers a sense of routine and security

Every class is designed to balance energy and calm, giving toddlers just the right mix of movement, focus, and joy.
